Ro, yes people who have just met me, those who have known me for years and those who worship with me, my friends (some saved, some not) my family (some saved, some not) all say and know me as a Godly woman who is without a doubt, given her life to Christ and Jesus shines through me.  With that said, I am still so far from being where He wants me to be and where is growing me to be, BUT I am growing.  I am far from Sister Super Christian, but I do have a heart to serve the Lord.

I have lead a few people to Christ, but WE ALL are called to be disciples and share the gospel.  That was the great commission Jesus commanded us to. 

My church is an alive, word filled and spirit lead lead body of believers.  We do not play church.  We are the real deal.  My spiritual parents are Godly, honorable, Holy Spirit, God lead people, who live what they preach.  We tithe 10%  and give offerings because that what Gods word tells us to do.  Its not about the money really.  God owns it all anyway.  It's about your heart and obedience to his word.  Even if all I have is the button on my blouse to give, God excepts it because my heart is right.

Why should be people "roll with me"?  What I pray for?  I pray that people will draw near to me because I can love them. I pray that God shows me how to live and who to bless everyday. 

Understand this Ro, just because you are a Christian, that does not make you perfect, that does not mean that you won't fall or miss it sometimes.  Throughout the Bible, God used the least likely people (murders, adulterers, liars, cheaters, people who stutter, who have shyness issues, you name it) to do his greatest works.  Why?  Because it's about His strength, not your strength. It's about showing His greatness, not your greatness.

The relationship you have with God isn't because of someone else, it's because you reached out to God and let Jesus into your heart and make him your Lord and Savior and let him work through you, lead you, teach you and grow you.  Yes, he does send people into our lives but they can never take the place of the relationship you develop with him on your own. 

You will know us by our fruit.  We know it's an apple tree because it grows apples, some with worms, some bruised, some perfect, but its an apple tree for sure.   I am a Christian!  I am a woman who loves God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit with all that I am.  I have given my WHOLE LIFE to him.  I have a heart to serve his people, however and who ever needs to be served.  Sometime I fall. Sometimes I miss it.  Sometimes I fail.  But I get up and run back to God.  I repent and He is merciful and loves me enough to forgive me and take me back.  Yes, I am a Christian and they know me from my fruit.

I just find it odd that folks can come on here talk about love life, weight, family yet have a problem talking about their relationship with christ.....I honestly appreciate your answer again thank you.....I can kinda see why folks would roll with you.....lol

 

 

Anytime sweetie.  Jesus said, anyone who does not acknowledge me before man, I will not awknowledge before my Father.  To me, it's a blessing to speak about the Lord and to love him openly. We are free to do that in this country and in so many other countries Christians are being brutally murdered.

What KILLS me sometimes-  is that if you are a 'heathen' and you start to change and start taking steps toward God - some of those Holy Rollers will try to turn you away!!!  'Aw naw - you have done this or you have said that in the past' - as reasons you CAN'T be serious or you can't really be making a change THAT'S the shiot right thur that gets me!!!
